Parchment Craft Day with tuition by Judith Maslen - Experienced Crafters & Beginners
Following the success of our Parchment Craft Days over the
past couple of years, we now have a new list of dates for workshops at Barton on
Sea in 2016 and 2017.
Everyone is welcome, from beginner to advanced.
The workshops take place at the Methodist Church Hall, Barton-on-Sea, Hants, BH25 7PA (on the South Coast between Southampton and Bournemouth). There is a railway station at nearby New Milton. We start at 9.30am and finish at 4.30pm. The cost for 2014 (and I am pleased to say also held at the same price for 2015) is £17.00 which includes endless tea, coffee and biscuits. We will break for lunch, however please bring your own food as lunch is not provided. During the day we work on two brand-new patterns and special instructions are provided for the less experienced parchment-crafter.
If you are interested in joining us on any of these days, you can pay your deposit of £5.00 using PayPal (which takes all major credit cards) by using the link against the date you are interested in the table below and selecting the postage type as 'Courses Only'. Alternatively you can request an application form from firstname.lastname@example.org (or telephone 01425 614057) and pay by cheque or postal order. The final balance should be paid a fortnight before the Parchment Craft Day (don't worry we'll remind you as we'll be sending you a list of tools and materials which you will need for the course at about this time).
Judith will also be holding some workshops in the Isle of Wight during October 2017. If you are interested in attending one of these workshops please drop us an email for further details email@example.com

Ordering News (2)
I am pleased to report that I am now able to accept orders for payment by cheque (UK bank accounts only). Please place your order using the online shopping cart and then simply click on the 'Cheque (UK Banks only)' option on the Payments screen and follow the on-screen instructions. I will acknowledge your order and dispatch upon receipt of your payment. Please see the ordering information section in the Patterns to Buy page.
Patterns to Buy News
As a result of some really helpful feedback from many of you who have taken the trouble to get in contact with me, I have decided to slightly change the way I offer patterns to buy. The good news is that I am now offering the individual patterns from each pack for sale separately, so you can mix and match your favourites from the various pattern packs. This will also mean that the patterns will come with an even larger colour picture to refer to. Another piece of good news is that I have been able to reduce the P&P too!
Due to popular demand I am now live with an online ordering system using PayPal enabling me to take debit/credit card and PayPal payments. For further information about PayPal, please click on the logo on the left of the screen. Please see the ordering information section in the Patterns to Buy page.
Judith can often be found at the many paper craft events which are held in the UK. Check here to find out where you can meet her in the flesh (and pick up a few hints and tips too!). Judith will also be selling all the patterns available on the website, so if you can't wait for the post, pop along to an event.
We are very excited to be working with Holme Barn Crafts to host a drop-in parchment day on Sunday 1st October 2017. Patterns from Judith Maslen, taster sessions with Heather from Association of Parchment Crafters and Glynis Whitehead on combining traditional patterns with Groovi plates - gosh what a lot going on and all with free entry!
