Encore - Flower Garden

All designs in the 'Encore' series have previously been published in magazines or appeared as free patterns here on JudithMaslen.co.uk, however due to popular demand I have brought some of the favourite patterns together in these special sets. Here are some flowery designs which have proved popular in the past.

Romantic Designs

Created to remind you of those special moments in life, these designs could also be used as congratulation cards for engagements or wedding anniversaries.

Wheels

These gleaming classic cars are loved by many in real life. Whilst you may not be able to afford one on your driveway, these cards make fantastic gifts for an enthusiast or just an admirer of all things four-wheeled.

Favourite Flowers

Flower patterns seem to be in everyone's top-ten list. Here are three of my favourite flowers - hope you like them too! If you like flowers, check out the Flowers for You patterns packs for some other flower-related designs.

Christmas Wishes

Its never too early to start the Christmas cards. Here are some which I hope might inspire you.

Flower Power

Three whitework patterns, coloured on the reverse with blendable pencils complete the first three, whilst a further three using embossing and colouring on the front complete the collection. Basic tools are used for the lacework or the PCA fine square grid can be used in place of the four-needle tool. If you like flowers, check out the Flowers for You patterns packs for some other flower-related designs.

Charming Chaps

Following the success of ‘Glamour Girls’ we have provided them with three charming and handsome gentlemen friends.  Each pattern is easily traced with black pen.  Colouring is mainly done on the reverse with blendable pencils.

Glamour Girls

1920's fashion provides the glamour for this set of patterns. each design is traced with black pen and then coloured on the reverse with blendable pencils.

Encore - Special Occasions

All designs in the 'Encore' series have previously been published in magazines or appeared as free patterns here on JudithMaslen.co.uk, however due to popular demand I have brought some of the favourite patterns together in these special sets. These patterns are for cards which can be used to celebrate those special occasions.

Encore - Christmas Greetings

All designs in the 'Encore' series have previously been published in magazines or appeared as free patterns here on JudithMaslen.co.uk, however due to popular demand I have brought some of the favourite patterns together in these special sets. These patterns are for cards which can be used to celebrate Christmas.

Encore - Zoo Time

All designs in the 'Encore' series have previously been published in magazines or appeared as free patterns here on JudithMaslen.co.uk, however due to popular demand I have brought some of the favourite patterns together in these special sets. These patterns feature animals.

Celebration Plates

Try making something different for Christmas. Each pattern can be made as a traditional folded Christmas card, or can be perforated around the edge and transformed into a celebration plate by mounting onto blue and gold card. Full instructions are given for this, and also for the plate-stand, made from matching gold card.

Circles

If you like circular designs but don't own a circular grid, these simple patterns can give a similar look to your cards.

Narrow-Boat Life

This is the start of a new set of designs inspired by life on canal narrow-boats.

In The Garden - New patterns added - now 9 to choose from!

For the gardener in the family these are perfect cards to brighten their day.

The Enchanted Garden - New patterns added - now 6 to choose from!

There are elves at the bottom of my garden and here are just three of them! They are traced in sepia ink, which gives a much softer outline than black, then coloured on the reverse of the parchment with blendable pencils. Now three fairies have joined them, this time traced in black ink.

Countryside Treasures - New patterns added - now 6 to choose from!

Hidden away in meadows and woodlands are plants and flowers that can suddenly catch your eye and surprise you with their beauty. Here are just six of them.

Windows

Create your own stained glass window from a choice of  three.  Each design is traced with black ink – most black drawing pens will work on parchment but just to make sure, first dust your parchment with a small amount of talcum powder, rub it well in and then clean it off!  Colouring is done on the reverse with felt pens.  The method of using them is fully described in each pattern.

Favourite Fans

The fan is an ever-popular subject for parchment craft and I hope you will find these just a little different.

Special Occasions

If you've got a special occasion coming up for which you need to create a card these designs are just the thing.

Faithful Friends - New patterns added - now 4 to choose from!

Dog-lover or not, these cards are sure to melt your heart, plus get some great embossing practice with step-by-step guides.

Pretty Things - New patterns added - now 6 to choose from!

Bring a bit of glamour and sparkle to the mantelpiece with these pretty cards.

The Young Ones

The innocence and fun of youth is captured in these cards.

Mainly For Men - New patterns added - now 6 to choose from!

Cards for special occasions for male friends and family can be difficult to find. Hopefully this pack will solve your problems in this regard, though they are equally as appealing for female recipients and enjoyable for you to do too!

We Love Teddy Bears

Traced in black, then coloured with blendable pencils, these bears are fun to create.  Using the technique of colouring on the back of the parchment gives a soft, muted look to the teddy bears. As an added bonus, they make great nursery pictures to frame, if you enlarge the friendly bears to trace and colour, leaving out the lace borders.

Keep It Simple - New patterns added - now 6 to choose from!

Just tracing, dorsing and embossing - no complicated lace work involved. If you can trace, you can make it! Plus three more designs which rely on good tracing and embossing for their effect.

Fruit Salad

Good enough to eat (though we don't advise it!)

Pony Club

Not as complicated as they look! Each of the patterns has a diagram showing how you first emboss with the large tool to form the features, then use the stylus to create the mane and hair. To help you even more portions of the finished card are enlarged to show work details.

The Pond

Don't panic - they're not hard to do! Each pattern has a diagram showing how you first emboss with the large tool to give form and shape, then with the stylus to create the feathers.
