Flower Power
Three whitework patterns, coloured on the reverse with blendable pencils
complete the first three, whilst a further three using embossing and colouring
on the front complete the collection.
Basic tools are used for the lacework or the PCA fine square grid can be used in
place of the four-needle tool. If you like flowers, check out the Flowers
for You patterns packs for some other flower-related designs.
- A delicate crocus, worked by
embossing on the back and front of the parchment. The semi-square tool is
used in the cut background.
- This carnation, in a frame formed
with the semi-circle tool, has a border made with the four-needle tool,
which is then outlined with a scriber or small ball tool.
- Three pansies are embossed and
coloured on the reverse with blendable pencils to give a delicate effect.
The heart tool and the semi-circle tool are used in the borders.
- This cornflower is my own personal
favourite at the moment, so I hope you like it too. Traced with coloured
inks, it is coloured on the front with blendable pencils. I have used the PCA
bold square grid, together with a sun or tool, to make the simple grid
pattern.
- The tulips are traced with white
pencil and then embossed. The four-needle tool makes an easy but effective
border when used with some embossed detail.
- The water irises are traced with
coloured inks, embossed and then coloured on the reverse with blendable
pencils. The grid pattern uses a PCA fine square grid and a star tool. If
you omit the gridwork, the oval gives a space for any special greeting or
peel-off.
